Soccer Advise
What we do

We take the analysis of football into a different league.

Through a combination of data, modelling and critical thought, we produce match predictions our clients can act on - and we execute them with discipline, every matchday.

Our edge

Four disciplines, one process

Everything we publish to clients passes through the same pipeline: collect, model, price, execute. No tips from a hunch, no gut calls on derby day.

Data

We consume information on every aspect of a fixture - line-ups, injuries, schedule congestion, referee tendencies, weather and market movement - to see what is happening on and off the pitch.

Match predictions

Our models estimate the true probability of every outcome and compare it with the price on offer. We only act where the gap is in our clients' favour.

Bet execution

Timing and stake sizing matter as much as the pick. We stage entries across the market, control exposure per fixture and avoid moving the price against ourselves.

Analytics & advisory

Clients see a clear ledger of positions, settlements and expected returns through our online platform, with regular reviews of what is working and what is not.

Our story

From tipster marketplace to analytics house

Soccer Advise went live in April 2009 as a marketplace where independent football tipsters could publish their selections and be judged on a verified record. Watching thousands of tipsters over several seasons taught us one thing above all: a few people had a repeatable edge, and most did not.

So we rebuilt the business around that lesson. Today we run our own models, our own trading desk and our own client platform, operating in the same mould as the large private football analytics firms - but fully online, with no physical office, which keeps us lean and our clients' costs low.

Milestones
  1. 2009
    Launch

Soccer Advise opens in April as an online marketplace for independent football tipsters with verified records.

  2. 2010s
    Learning from the data

Years of tracked selections reveal which approaches hold up and which are noise. We start building our own models.

  3. Today
    Analytics & advisory

A remote team of analysts, engineers and traders running models, execution and a client platform - no office required.

A typical week

How a matchday comes together

  1. 1

    Monday - Wednesday: collect

Models are re-fitted on the weekend's results. Squad news, travel schedules and early market prices are ingested as they land.

  2. 2

    Thursday - Friday: price

Every fixture on the slate gets a fair price. Where the market disagrees with us by enough, a position is sized and queued.

  3. 3

    Weekend: execute & settle

Positions are placed, monitored and settled. Clients' balances update in real time and the weekly review is prepared.
